Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F41622-01-Q-0006, is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-16. The Government intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Perkin Elmer Instruments, Norwalk, Connecticut. The purchase includes preventive maintenance and service call on several pieces of equipment for a 12 month period. Requirements are for delivery FOB Destination to AFIERA/DOT, Brooks AFB, Texas by 1 November 2000. Offerors shall provide a complete copy of provision 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items and Central Contracting Registration is required IAW DFAR 252.204-7004. The Government anticipates awarding one order resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
