Description

Amendment to Synopsis F42650-00-RA291. Solicitation F42650-00-RA291 is set aside 100% small business. Issue Date 18 Sep 00 Closing Date 18 Oct 00 Anticipated Award Date: 2001 Apr 01 Description: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and services necessary to perform STRIP AND PAINT C-130 AIRCRAFT. Contractor shall follow procedures outlined IAW Government Statement of Work. The contractor shall meet the applicable document standards specified in statement of work. Classification of work: Aircraft Strip, full paint, scuff sand & overcoat, aircraft strip & repaint, flight control strip & repaint, flight control scuff sand & overcoat, lower wing plank, scuff & sand at pylon attach points. Contract period base year with 4-option year. The following is a list of minimum requirements: C-130 experienced classified mechanics who can repair discrepancies (avionics, electrical, mechanical, troubleshoot and repair, experienced manpower resources to man strip and paint facilities three shifts per day, seven days per week in order to meet surge requirements of up to around 60 aircraft per day, DCMA quality personnel on site, govt fuel storage and commercial fuel availability on site, ability to deliver aircraft in 10 to 12 calendar days, emergency integral and bladder fuel bladder fuel cell repair capabilities on site, flight control balancing capabilities and experienced, include crane for removal and reinstallation of flight controls, certified engine run personnel available, sercure facility, facility is ISO 9000 compliant-good quality record (NDI, eddy current, mag particle, dye penetrant).
