Description

Drum, 5 Gallon, Removable Head with Gasket. Standard height, slightly tapered sides, bail handle, steel construction in accordance with 49 CFR, Part 178, Painted Black. Drums must be new. Refurbished drums are not acceptable. The requirement is for an estimated amount of 8,400 units for the base year with two one year options, a quantity 8,400 for each of the option years. This requirement will be solicited utilizing procedures of FAR Parts 12 and 15. Delivery of the drums to be FOB Destination to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, Wa. When the solicitation is available for download, prospective offerors should carefully review the solicitation posted at http://www.neco.navy.mil/ (then "Business Opportunities) (then search using the solicitation number N0040601R5011, all are "zeros" not the letter "oh"). After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting quotes must: (1) complete the pricing, (2) complete all representations and certifications found in the solicitation, (3) manufacturer information of proposed items and (4) ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.2000.com/).
