PRON: AX050955AX, Noun: Tip Assy, Leading Ed, NSN: 1560-01-170-5256; P/N: 7-311412035-3; Quantity: Minimum 236 each, Maximum 529 each. Applicable to the AH-64 Airframe. With First Article delivery is 24 each 300 days after contract award and 24 each month thereafter until shipped complete. First Article Test Report due 228 DACA. Without First Article delivery is 24 each 240 days after contract award and 24 each month thereafter until shipped complete. FOB Origin to Texarkana, TX, New Cumberland, PA and Stockton, CA. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. This proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government does not have specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. Approved sources are Composite Structures, LLC, Monrovia, CA and McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company, Mesa, AZ. The time required for approval of a new supplier is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
