Description

This requirement was previously advertised on August 30, 2000. The work consists of construction of stone fill weirs, dike removal and recycling, dike raises and extensions, construction of environmental notches in existing dikes, and burying woody debris in dikes for environmental enhancement. Location of work: Chester Reach Phase II, Mississippi River Miles 120.0 to 103.0, Randolph County in Illinois and Perry County in Missouri. The cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, the contract duration is 360 calendar days. Plans and Specifications will be available on the St. Louis District WEB Page on or about 7 November 2000 and will also be available on CD ROM to registered contractors. Interested contractors may register via the internet (address given below) on the issue date.
