Description

Contract will be awarded for an initial performance period of nine (9) months (January 1, 2001 through September 30,2001 with two full one year option periods. Contractor shall provide medical emergency ambulance service to transport veterans to clinic visits, nursing home placements, special procedures, discharge to home as well as transfers to other VA facilities. This contract estimates 750 trips totalling approximately 8,000 miles. Contractor shall provide the necessary licenses, and insurance to carry out this contract. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the government. Request for bid document must be in writing. Facsimile request can be sent to (901) 577-7242. Bid document will be issued on or about November 3, 200. Bid opening will be held on or about December 4, 2000. Solicitation is subject to the availability of FY 01 funds. SIC is 8099.
