THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. A solicitation document is not available at this time. This synopsis seeks qualified sources interested in and capable of providing recycling services at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico. Neither appropriated nor non-appropriated funds shall be used to pay for any part of this service. The right to scrap metals and expended brass would constitute complete contractual consideration for services rendered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562111-Solid Waste Collection; the applicable size standard is $10.0 Million. Clearly state whether your firm is large; small; a very small business; or 8(a) in relation to this NAICS code and size standard. All sources interested in and capable of providing these services are asked to submit a Capabilities Package. The capabilities package shall include all of the following information: 1) name and address of firm, (2) size of business: express as the average annual gross receipts revenue for past 3 years, (3) number of years in business; (5) two points of contact: name, title, phone number, fax number and e-mail address; (6) DUNS Number. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests. Respondents will not be notified of the results of any evaluation of their capabilities package. Respondents deemed fully qualified may be considered in any resulting solicitation. The closing date for receipt of capabilities packages is 27 OCT 2000.
