Description

OMB Circular A-76 Cost Comparison Study of Directorate of Readiness (DOR), Operation and Support Services, Fort Stewart, Hunter Army Airfield, and Port of Savannah, Georgia and other geographical areas of support. The intent of this study is to determine the most efficient and cost effective method of providing the resources and management of the DOR. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The study will determine whether these services should be performed under a contract or through the federal work force. A Government proposal to provide these services is being developed and a contract may or may not result. Proposal evaluation will be in accordance with the procedures set forth in OMB Circular A-76 and Section M of the Request for Proposal (RFP). RFP issuance will be o/a 1 December 2000 and will be available by accessing the Fort Stewart Directorate of Contracting Home Page. Any resultant contract will have a performance period consisting of a base period and four option years. Contract type is cost plus award fee. SIC is 8744 with a small business size standard of $20.0. RFP will be issued on an unrestricted basis. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT. Directorate of Contracting (DOC) has released DRAFT Solicitation for industry comment. The DRAFT solicitation has been posted on the INTERNET. This DRAFT solicitation, which will include related files (i.e., RFP, CDRLs) listed under the solicitation number (DAKF10-99-R-0054), can then be downloaded directly to your workstation. All parties are hereby notified that any written requests submitted for copies of the solicitation will not be acted upon. Industry comments are due to DOC no later than 31 Oct 2000.
