Description

NSN: 4240-01-447-1187 Maintenance Kit, Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) [Kit contains 58 separate items and is used to perform maintenance on self-contained breathing apparatus equipment]. Item is to be manufactured in accordance with Drawing 97001A0017. QUANTITY: 1 EACH to be delivered FOB Destination to the customer. Delivery destination and "Ship To/Mark For" will be cited in the Request for Quote. This item is military unique and not commercial in nature, thus, the procedures outlined in FAR Part 12 will NOT be utilized in this acquisition. SEE NUMBERED Note 26. This acquisition will be 100% UNRESTRICTED. There is no previous acquisition history for this item. A copy of Drawing 97001A0017 will be furnished by mail to any firm indicating an interest in being solicited. NOTE: Subject solicitation will be made available on the DLA Procurement Gateway on the estimated Solicitation Issuance date of November 8, 2000. To access the DLA Procurement Gateway, go to "http://progate.daps.mil.home" or "http://12.3.216/home." From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFQ's" on the left-hand sidebar. All documents are in portable document format (pdf) and can be downloaded using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Adobe Acrobat Reader is available free from Adobe at "http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readermain.html." To receive E-MAIL notification of this and other solicitations, you must register with the USER PROFILE feature of the Gateway.
