Description

This pre-solicitation notice is for the construction of a 63,000 square foot aircraft hangar and operations offices at Hammond, Louisiana. The magnitude of the construction is between $5 million and $10 million. The tentative date for issuance of the invitation for bid is 11/20/00, with a tentative bid opening date of 12/21/00. The standard industrial classification code for this acquisition is 1542, with a small business standard of $21.5 million. Copies of the solicitation will be sent to interested general contractors. For all other interested parties, the plans and specifications will be available at the Plan Rooms in New Orleans, Louisiana and Hammond, Louisiana after issuance of the solicitation. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
