Description

The U.S. Army Soldier, Biological and Chemical Command intends to modify contract DAAD16-00-P-0573 to Tech Research Group, Inc., 2377 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence, Rhode Island, 02914 on a basis of other than full and open competition to add additional work that was not included in the original contract in the estimated amount of $57K, reference FAR 6.302-1. The M80/85 Heater, Water, Liquid Fuel is a component of the M85 Laundry Unit. The Statement of Work for the water heater requires the revision and rewrite, if necessary, of the maintenance procedures. These have to be incorporated into the laundry manual because of the integral relationship of these two pieces of equipment. It is imperative that the changes to the Technical Manual be coordinated and reflect the intricacies of each component's interoperation. Tech Research Group is determined to be the only company capable of meeting these requirements. No solicitation document is available. See Note 22
