Description

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to issue RFP DCA200-00-R-5023 for the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) Global Solutions (DGS) (formerly known as DISN Support Services-Global II (DSS-GII)). The majority of the technical and operational support services to be acquired under RFP DCA200-00-R-5023 are currently provided under Contract DCA200-96-D-0065, DISN Support Services-Global (DSS-G) and Contract DCA200-91-D-0027, Federal Defense Information Switch Network (formerly AFNET). The structure of this acquisition is contemplated to be a competitive IDIQ, task order-contracting vehicle. There shall be a maximum of two (2) awards. One contract award will be based on Full and Open Competition while the other based on a partial set-aside for small businesses. The NAICS contemplated will be 541330,Engineering Services, with a size standard of $20 million. The formal RFP will be released on or about 1 November 2000 with an estimated award date of 1 April 2001.
