Description
This requirement is 100% small business set-aside. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) has a request from our customer the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Great Lakes Region to purchase and install a Digital Telephone System at the FAA Flight Inspection Field Office (FIFO) at Battle Creek MI. The new system must be initially sized for 94 stations, 45 digital multiline telephone stations(43 16 button and two 24 button expanded display phones, with speaker capability), two DAA/BLF units, and 49 analog stations (for S/L phones, Modem and FAX stations). Also to allow for growth after installation, a maximum capacity of at least 128 stations(both digital and analog) must be easily attainable by simple addition of circuit pack equipment and programming of those units. Specifically, potential for future system growth must be provided at installation (minus station circuit packs), so that wiring of additional cabinets is not necessary to achieve the growth. It is expected that existing analog stations with single line telephone equipment will continue to use the current single line telephone equipment. Single line telephone equipment required for new analog stations will be provided by AGL-474A. Installation must allow for incoming service using six Direct Inward Dial trunks (DID) and outgoing service using twelve 2 way Combination trunks. Long distance requirements will use VON FTS2001 service. Trunk service will be provided over a T1 Carrier, so a CSU and T1 Circuit pact should be included in the estimate. Old Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 3661 changed to 33421-North American Industry Classification System code and old (SIC) 4813 changed to 51333 (NACIS) code. The anticipated Request for Quote(RFQ) release date is on or around 18 October 2000 with proposals expected to be due by 2:00pm Central Standard Time (CST) on 06 November 2000. Vendor proposal submission instructions can be found under DCA200-01-T-5019. The solicitation and all related information will only be issued electronically, except certs and reps documentation. Vendors must download the RFQ and/or amendments by accessing the DITCO Home Page, (1) click on Contracting Opportunities, (2) click on BROWSE Opportunities, (3) click on Request for Quote (RFQ) under "Other Telecommunication and Computer Technology",(4) Find RFQ Number DCA200-01-T-5019.
