- Description
- Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to replace HVAC piping at the U.S. Coast Guard Integrated Support Command Portsmouth, Portsmouth, VA. Basic Work Items include: In the Group Engineering Building (No. 019): Remove existing black iron chilled/hot water piping together with its fiberglass insulation in an area above the suspended ceiling, and replace with new fiberglass insulated copper pipe of equal size. Remove existing acoustical ceiling tile and grid in the area of the chilled/hot water piping, above the ceiling, and replace with new ceiling tile and grid. In the Facilities Engineering Building (No. 018): Remove existing black iron chilled/hot water piping together with its fiberglass insulation in an area above the suspended ceiling and in the mechanical room, and replace with new fiberglass insulated copper pipe of equal size. Remove (2) two hot water circulating pumps and replace with new pumps of the same capacity. Remove existing acoustical ceiling tile and grid in the area of the chilled/hot water piping and replace with new ceiling tile and grid. The period of performance is 90 days after Notice to Proceed. The estimated range of this procurement is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00, and in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program is open to both small and large businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 235110. Size standard is $11.5 million.
