Description

Furnish all plant, labor, materials, and equipment; and perform all work in strict accordance with these specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, to Replace Sprinkler Heads, Bldgs 17,22 & 134 at the Anniston Army Depot. Replace all fire sprinkler heads throughout Bldgs 17 and 22 and in the center and west sections of Bldg 134. In Bldg 17 there is an existing dry pipe system for ordinary hazard with a total of 172 heads to be removed and replaced with heads matching the type and configuration of those removed. In Bldg 22 there is an existing dry pipe system for ordinary hazard with a total of 630 heads to be removed and replaced with like heads matching the type and configuration of those removed. In Bldg 134 there are two (2) existing dry pipe systems in the center and west sections for ordinary hazard with a total of 625 heads to be removed and replaced with like heads matching the type and configurations of those removed. Types, configurations, and locations will be noted in project drawings. All heads and any hardware/plumbing necessary shall be supplied as part of this contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is: 235110 The size standard is $11.5 Million Estimated magnitude of the project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. One Job. Completion time is 180 days after notice to proceed. This project is UNRESTRICTED. Estimated Request for Quotation issue date is 31 Oct 2000. This Solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102 (a)(7) and 14.205-1(c); therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Bids/quotes must be submitted electronically as indicated in the solicitation. CAUTION: This Solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto.
