Description

Camp Lejeune, one of the largest bases on the East Coast, is hosting an on-site Technology Expo that will take place on Wednesday, March 7, 2001. There are six major Marine Corps commands, two Navy commands, and one joint command at this location. Camp Lejeune is home of the Standing Joint Task Force Headquarters, a newly formed organization that is initially tasked to perform headquarters functions for three regional commands: U.S. Atlantic Command, European Command, and Southern Command. Some of the requested technologies for this event are: ATM's, E-mail, CD-ROM, LANs, Desktops, Databases, Workstations, Notebooks, Wireless LANs, Spreadsheets, Laser Printer, Color Printers, Hard Disk Drives, Management, Scanners, and WANs.
