Description

Fort Gordon will be hosting a Fall Technology Exposition on Tuesday, November 14, 2000. The event will be promoted to all Post personnel including people from Information Systems Command (DOIM HQ for all Posts), the Army Intelligence Center and School, 111th Military Intelligence Brigade, DoD Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Training Center, 11th Signal Brigade, electronic Proving Ground, the Joint Inter-operability Test Command, TRADOC (this is over 10,000 personnel). As well as Signal Center Headquarters, Ordnance Electronics and Maintenance Training Command. Some of the requested technologies to attend include but are not limited to the following: Digital and Wireless hand-held computers, flat panel monitors, Communications Equipment, Deployable Equipment, Networking Applications, laptops/notebooks/desktops, CAD/CAM, video teleconferencing, and real time applications. This Expo will be taking place where 70% of all personnel eat lunch; it is the Signal Center Headquarters. It's mission is to provide and manage information for all soldiers and civilians.
