Twenty-Nine Palms will be hosting an On-Site Technology Expo on Thursday, March 1, 2001. Scientists, Engineers, Research Personnel, and End Users will be attending to look for the latest technological advances! Part of Twenty-Nine Palms' mission is to develop, conduct and evaluate the Marine Corps Combined Arms Training Program. In total, each year some 50,000 marines participate in about 250 training exercises, gaining proficiency in all phases of land combat operations. These exercises include Army, Navy and Air Force Units. Our events here are always highly attended! Some of the technologies requested include, but are not limited to: Peripheral Equipment, Laser Printers, Color Monitors, Hard Disk Drives, Storage Devices, Tape Backup Systems, Plotters, Charting Devices, Scanners, CD-ROMs, Project Management and Copiers.
