Description

An overview of the A-76 Commercial Activity Study of base operating support and quality of life services at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base (NASJRB) Fort Worth will be discussed during Industry Day on November 2, 2000. Registration begins at 8:30 A.M. at the Desert Storm Conference Center at 2570 Desert Storm Road located on the Naval Air Station. The Industry Day program will begin at approximately 9 A.M. and end at 4 P.M. Participants must pre-register with the NAS JRB Position Management Office by calling (817) 782-7858 no later than October 26th in order to gain access to the Naval Air Station. Addressed topics will include an overview of the Joint Reserve Base, its mission, and the plan for acquisition. A draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be available for review beginning October 16th. It can be viewed at nasftw.cnrf.nola.navy.mil/castudy/pws.htm. Since teaming among small business is envisioned for this procurement, a "teaming brief" will be presented by personnel from the Air Force Outreach Program Office. Time will be allocated for contractor exchange and interchange. Also, space is being made available upon registration with the Position Management Offcie for interested contractors to advertise capabilities and company data.
