Description

FY 01 Drydocking Phased Maintenance Availability (DPMA) USS Kingfisher (MHC-56). Contract Period 12 Jan 01 -- 05 Mar 01. Work consists of drydocking, hull, mechanical, electrical, piping, and electronic repairs, including AITs. Work to be performed at the drydock/contractor's facility in the Ingleside, Texas homeport area. Solicitation will be issued on 17 Oct 00. Sources who currently hold an Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) prior to award, may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Firms which do not possess an ABR are ineligible for award unless adequate time exists to permit the Navy to perform an assessment of their ABR application and to execute the ABR without impacting the vessel's availability dates.
