Description

Bassett Army Community Hospital, Fort Wainwright, AK requires a regulated medical waste pick-up and disposal service contract, with a base period of 1 January 2001 through 30 September 2001 and four (4) option years with periods of performance from 1 October through 30 September each year. The solicitation is being issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) authorized in FAR Subpart 13.5 -- Test Program for certain Commercial Items and will result in a single firm fixed-price contract. Qualifications: prospective contractors or subcontractors shall be able to meet all Federal, state and local laws, ordinances and regulations governing disposal of regulated medical waste. The applicable North American Industry Classification System code is 562211 with a business size standard of $10 million. Payment for this service will be made using the Government Credit Card. All requests for this request for quotation (RFQ) shall be in writing and either faxed or e-mailed, Fax to: (253) 968-4922 Attn: Mitch Munger, telephonic requests will not be honored.
