STATEMENT OF INTEREST AND QUALIFICATIONS The Louisiana Department of Natural Resources (the Department) gives public notice that it is requesting Statements of Interest and Qualifications from interested, qualified persons or firms (including public agencies and institutions) to provide engineering assistance on the Marsh Creation South of Leeville. Copies of the Request for Statement of Interest and Qualifications (RSIQ) No. 2511-01-11 are available at the Department of Natural Resources, 6th floor, Room 600, State Land and Natural Resources Building, 625 North Fourth Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. They also may be obtained by 1) writing to Louisiana Department of Natural Resources, Post Office Box 94396, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70804-9396, ATTN: JULIA RAIFORD, 2) calling MS. RAIFORD at 225) 342-4566, 3) E-Mail request to juliar@dnr.state.la.us, or 4) fax at 225) 342-8700. Please note that all requests must include a contact name, company name, mailing address, and telephone number. RSIQ's will be mailed immediately upon request via the U.S. Postal Service. Statements of Interest and Qualifications (SIQs) may be sent to the Department of Natural Resources, Post Office Box 94396, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70804-9396, ATTN: Ms. Karen Y. Lewis, or delivered to the Department at the 6th floor, Room 600, State Land and Natural Resources Building, 625 North Fourth Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70802. SIQs must be received not later than 2:00 p.m. on November 20, 2000 (closing date) after which time and date they will not be accepted. SIQs will be evaluated according to criteria defined in the RSIQ, and all proposers will be notified by U. S. mail of any contract awarded after such evaluation.
