Description

Contractor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment to replace a chain link fence fabric and accessories with new at the Naval Research Laboratory Washington, D.C. Contractor shall temporarily remove all signs on the old existing chain link fence and re-place back onto new fence at original locations at the completion of installation. Remove existing security fencing and install new security fencing; and perform related work to provide continuous security for facility. Schedule and fully coordinate work with NRL representative and cognizant security officer. Contractor shall install new fence fabric in accordance with fence manufacturer. The chain link fence fabric shall be a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) coated over aluminum-coated steel to meet same security requirement as existing fabric. The color shall be green with all accessories to match. Approximate length of fencing fabric to be replaced is approximately 3,200 L.F. (This includes the double gates at the pier) and approximate height of fence is eight feet. Contractor shall conform to federal state and local safety laws, rules, and regulations. Contractor shall provide a 24" X 24" sample of fence fabric and color chart for selection and approval. "See Note(s) 1" Response date to be determined at the time the RFQ is issued. RFQ will not be issued until the 16th day after this notice appears in the Commerce Business Daily.
