- 13 -- Potential Sources Sought For Various TNT Demolition Blocks; 1lb TNT Demo Block, NSN:1375009356139; 1/2lb TNT Demo Block, NSN:1375009269316; 1/4LB TNT Demo Block, NSN:1375009269394. The POCs are: Sue Wilson, Procuring Contracting Officer,(309)782-1019; and Jan Batson, Contracts Specialist, (309) 782-5452. The Mines, Demolition, and Grenades office of the Operations Support Command (OSC) is conducting a market survey of industry to identify sources that are capable of manufacturing TNT Block Demolition Charges. A TNT Block Demolition Charge consists of a cylindrical waterproof cardboard container containing a TNT explosive charge. The technical description of this item is identified as Charge, Demolition: Block, TNT. This information can be requested from the Procuring Contracting Officer, Sue Wilson, (309) 782-1019 or DSN 793-1019, E-mail: wilsons@osc.army.mil. A respondent to this survey should be able to show that they have adequate technical and manufacturing capability and good past performance in the explosives processing industry, as an indicator of your qualifications as a manufacturer for this item. A respondent to this market survey must have available a majority of the skills and facilities that are required to manufacture this demo charge assembly. Interested companies who feel they have the necessary manufacturing capabilities should respond by providing the government the following information; a brief summary of the company's capabilities, including a description of facilities, personnel, and past manufacturing experience as it relates to the above criteria and estimated minimum and maximum monthly production quantities that can be produced and the Minimum Procurement Quantity (MPQ) required for production. If a respondent does not have adequate resources (technical, manufacturing, personnel, etc) available, the respondent must be able to demonstrate his ability to obtain those resources in a timely fashion. If a respondent chooses to utilize the services of sub-tier vendors or subcontractors, those vendors or subcontractors must also meet these criteria. Information shall be submitted within 15 calendar days from the date of this publication to: US Army Operations Support Command, ATTN: Sue Wilson, AMSOS-CCM-F, Rock Island, IL 61299-6000. This is a market survey for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal or as an obligation on the part of the government. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey or otherwise pay for information solicited. The government will utilize the information provided only to develop the acquisition strategy for future requirements. All information submitted will be held in a confidential status.
