Description

See Note #1: AMI-American Management, Inc as prime contractor to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Deveopment is soliciting proposals for the provision of security services at multi-family properties owned or controlled by HUD in the states of Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. These properties are identified as troubled multi-family apartment complexes and require extensive coverage by the contractor. All parties submitting proposals must be licensed in the states identified in the solicitation at the time of contract award. Services shall consist of both armed and unarmed security at the subject properties on a 24-hour a day, seven day a week basis. Contractors must submit proposals in accordance with the proposal format in the solicitation and will be technically evaluated for capability to perform the work. AMI will conduct an extensive past performance evaluation of all offerors. The contract will be awarded for a base period plus one-year option. The solicitation will be issued on or about October 20, 2000.
