Description

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, licenses, certifications, and other items necessary to perform the base operating support services at Laughlin AFB TX. Service areas include Operations and Maintenance, Environmental Hazardous Material/Waste Services, Site Maintenance, Transportation, Supply, Airfield Management, Grounds Maintenance, Furnishings Management, and Fuels. Grounds Maintenance and Furnishings Management will not be an added until the second option year. Furnishings Management will be an OMB A-76 direct conversion study. The Government intends to issue a single solicitation and make a single award to one offeror. The contract term includes a mobilization period from 15 Aug 01 to 30 Sep 01. The base contract period is 1 Oct 01 to 30 Sep 02 with seven one-year pre-priced option periods: 1 Oct 02 to 30 Sep 03, 1 Oct 03 to 30 Sep 04, 1 Oct 04 to 30 Sep 05, 1 Oct 05 to 30 Sep 06, 1 Oct 06 to 30 Sep 07, 1 Oct 07 to 30 Sep 08, 1 Oct 08 to 30 Sep 09. The contract type anticipated is a Firm Fixed Price with an Award Fee Provision. This acquisition will be a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible small businesses may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the Air Force. The SIC Code is 8744, gross annual receipts of $20 Million or less. The NAICS Code is 56121. Offerors will be evaluated using a median source selection method. The Government intends to issue the solicitation on or about 30 Oct 00. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps (http://www.fedbizops.gov) and CBD (http://cbdnet.access.gpo.gov/) electronically.
