Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue an order under the Simplified Acquisition Procedure solely to Comcast Cablevision of Maryland, 8031 Corporate Drive, Baltimore, Maryland 21236 to obtain continuation of cable service throughout the SSA Headquarters Woodlawn Complex. The monthly CATV service will include maintenance for the SSA Headquarters Woodlawn MD CATV Network for 598 ports. Comcast Cablevision is the only known source, which can provide the required service in this general area. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. This synopsis constitutes the only announcement. Requests for copies of solicitation in response hereto will not be honored or acknowledged. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to publication. If no affirmative written responses are received by October 28, 2000, an order will be issued to Comcast Cablevision for the continuation of CATV service. Respondents should refer to 2000-CABLE.
