- Description
- The U.S. Department of Commerce, Mountain Administrative Support Center (MASC), has a requirement for a supplier to provide an estimated 250,000 therms per year of uninterruptible natural gas service via public utility pipelines to the U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), David Skaggs Research Center, 325 Broadway, Boulder, Colorado. Gas supply shall be provided 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Gas supplier shall provide transportation, and pay all fees to the Public Service Co. of Colorado for use of public utility Gas pipelines, and shall provide all = equipment needed to transport the gas to the gas head at the site. Gas supplier shall follow all public utility requirements. Payment for actual gas consumed shall be made monthly in arrears. Gas usage shall be = annotated on invoices provided monthly to NOAA, including a breakdown of all fees and services associated with the gas supply. Telemetering capability will be provided by the Government via cellular telephone. Current provider is Public Service Co. of Colorado, who deliver gas to a single point on site and bill to account #3800639839. Offeror shall make all arrangements with Public Service Co. of Colorado to transport gas to = the site. Period of performance is the date of award (est. December 2000) through September 30, 2000. Maintenance of meter equipment and pipelines will be the responsibility of Public Service Co. of Colorado. This procurement is being conducted per FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Solicitation packages will be available = Monday, October 23, 2000. Proposals must be received by close of business on or before November 22, 2000.
