R_CASE MANAGEMENT SUPPORT SERVICES -- The Department of Justice Civil Division requires the continuation of contract support for case management activities. The services to be acquired involve twelve specific functional areas: (1) identification and routing of case-related mail; (2) classification, data entry and update of trial case data; (3) data entry and update of appellate case data; (5) processing of patent litigation paperwork; (6) processing of case-related, computer-generated letters; (7) data entry and processing of attorney time reporting; (8) assuring data base integrity; (9) production of case-related reports; and (10) analyzing case data and producing written reports and graphic displays. The Contractor shall provide all personnel and supervision to perform all functions under a single contract. The guaranteed minimum level of effort will be 52,000 hours in the base year. The contract will provide for four (4) additional option years. The solicitation document will be available about January 10, 2001 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Electronic Posting System (EPS) web site http://www.eps.gov (hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available). The EPS site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through the EPS site.
