- Description
- The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), seeks a contractor to conduct an implementation study of the Summer Food Service Program. The purpose of the study is to obtain basic, detailed information about program characteristics, operations, administration, and meal characteristics of the Summer Food Service Program,as well as attempting to determine why approximately 15 million children from low-income families receive free or reduced-price lunches from the National School Lunch Program, but only about 2.1 Million participate in the SFSP.
