Synopsis posted 9/8/2000 for Firefighter's Shirts and Pants (BDUs) is referenced Solicitation Number 7FXI-J6-0-8446-S for Firefighter's Shirts and Pants (BDUs). This notice is issued to correct Solicitation Number to read 7FXI-J6-00-84D1-N for the FIREFIGHTER'S PANTS (BDUS) only. (The Firefighter's Shirts and Pants (BDUs) will be procured on separate solicitations.) The solicitation for the Firefighter's Pants (BDUs is scheduled to issue on or about October 13, 2000. Solicitation Number for the Firefighter's Shirts will remain 7FXI-J6-00-8446-S and solicitation will issue on or about October 15, 2000. Procurement for the Firefighter's Pants (BDUs) is for a definite quantity type contract. The Pants (BDUs) shall be in accordance with the latest revisions of Forest Service Specifications 5100-88 dated 3/99, 5100-92G dated 3/99, and MTDC Drawing 973 dated 2/99. Specifications/Drawing may be obtained by contacting the Point of Contact cited in this notice. Color -- Spruce Green. Procurement will be set aside for small business concerns. The Buy American Act is applicable. Clause I-FSS-160-A, Option to Increase Quantities, is applicable to this procurement. GSA is issuing this solicitation electronically only.
