Description

The Forest Service is soliciting helicopter services for aerial ignition and fire suppression. Contractor will be required to provide type III helicopters, pilots, and fuel trucks to conduct aerial ignition using Premo Mark III (ping pong ball dispenser) machines, provide observation/recon platforms and supply water drops for the control of wildfires and in support of prescribed fires. Work will be performed in Texas and Louisana. Work will start January 2001. This is a small business set-aside.
