Description

The selected firm shall provide services to perform a financial and compliance audit of all the activities of the St. Louis Housing Authority (SLHA), regardless of Federal funding source, conforming to the requirements of the Single Audit Act of 1984 and OMB Circular A-133. The selected firm shall audit the accounts and records of the SLHA in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards covering financial and compliance audits. These standards mean the Standards for Audit of Government Organizations, Programs, Activities and Functions developed by the Comptroller General of the United States. The audit performed shall be sufficient in scope to enable the selected firm to express an opinion in the audit report on the financial statements of the Authority. The SLHA will receive sealed proposals for these services until 3:00 p.m. (local time), Thursday, November 16, 2000. Solicitation documents will be available for pick up from the SLHA Procurement Section, 4100 Lindell Blvd., St.Louis, MO 63108. Offerors not in the local area may call 314-286-4234 during normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (local time) for instructions on obtaining the solicitation documents. All Offerors must comply with MBE/WBE and Section 3 requirements.
