Description

The Forest Service requires hand tree planting for 2 items on the Bitterroot National Forest, Ravalli County, MT. Item 1 is estimated to be 290 acres on the Darby, Stevensville, and Sula Ranger Districts; Item 2 is estimated to be 160 acres on the West Fork Ranger District. Maps, directions, and additional information for a self guided site visit may be obtained from Lenny Hinman, Darby Ranger District, (406) 821-3913, or from Don King, West Fork Ranger District, (406) 821-3269. This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) rules. Quotes are due February 15, 2001. The estimated start work date is April 15, 2001. The performance period is to be determined. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. The proposed project listed here is a 100 percent small business set-aside.
