Description

The 38 EIG/PKK has a requirement for nonpersonal services for Commercial Internet services USAF Academy, CO. The proposed contract is for approximatley 14 months (expires 1 May 02) . The local exchange service provider certified by the COLORADO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION shall provide local commercial communications service for USAF Academy, CO. Service shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, Bandwidth on demand up to a DS-3 connection of 45 megabits per second from the Academy demarc, through the Internet Service Provider (ISP) to the Internet, internet service provider (ISP), Reliability and uptime of 99.99%, one (1) hour response time and a maximum of four (4) hours repair time and Support services on a 24 hour, 7 day basis, and on-line trouble shooting. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. Sources responding to this synopsis must indicate, in writing, whether they are large, small, disadvantaged and/or a women-owned businesses. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under SIC 5133 with size standard of 1500 employees. An Acquisition Ombudsman, Col. Joseph Magnone, Director, Commander_s Staff, has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during proposal development. You should only contact the Ombudsman with issues or problems you cannot satisfactorily resolve with the program manager and/or contracting officer. The Ombudsman role is to hear concerns, issues, and recommendations and communicate these to the appropriate government personnel. The Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality if desired.
