- Description
- 17. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to request representatives to attend a Performance Baseline Assessment Model (PBAM) review on the F-402 engine. PBAM will assess and mitigate the risk in repair, logistics, and design processes of the F-402 engine to meet fleet safety, quality, operational, and readiness requirements. PBAM requires participants who have technical knowledge of the F402 manufacturing process. NAVAIRSYSCOM intends to obtain these services from Rolls-Royce, the sole manufacturer of the F402 series engines and the only firm with the requisite knowledge and expertise to perform the effort. The period of performance being 16 October 2000 through 27 October 2000. See Note No. 22.*****
