Description

DESC: TACOM-Rock Island is preparing a solicitation for a five year Requirements Contract to procure the following item: Slip Ring Assembly, NSN 5977-01-225-6208, Part Number 12323403. This item is for use on the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System (BFVS) and the Opposing-Forces Surrogate Vehicle (OSV). Total estimated requirements for all five years are 954 each Slip Ring Assemblies. The estimated issue date is 30 Oct 00. All or part of this action is an unfunded requirement for FY2001, FY2002, FY2003, FY2004, and FY2005. This proposed action is restricted to Electro-Tec Corp. and Litton Poly-Scientific. Due to a source controlled top drawing. Qualification procedures are not available. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. Interested subcontractors should contact Electro-Tec Corp.; 1501 N. Main St.; Blacksburg, VA 24060 or Litton Poly-Scientific; 1213 North Main Street; Blacksburg, VA 24060. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: http://aais.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet.
