Description

DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6; as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government intends to award an indefinite delivery type contract for one base year and four one-year options to furnish personnel, equipment and materials required to perform custodial services, maintenance, and repair at the Soldier Service Center, Fort Rucker, Alabama. Work includes plant maintenance and building support, facility maintenance and support, and exterior/interior building maintenance. Technical/Management source selection criteria are listed as part of the solicitation package on the web page identified in this announcement. Detailed technical proposals will be required. Commercial item provisions 52.212-1/2/3/4 and 5 apply. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The SIC is 8744, the size standard for which is a concern, including its affiliates, having an annual gross revenue of $20.0 million or less for the last three years. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format, however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government's best interest. Therefore, Offerors, (to include subcontractors and Dodge/Plan Rooms) are required to self-register their firm or office on the Internet and download the solicitation (available at this site on/about 13 Oct 2000) at the following Internet site: http://www.sam.usace.army.mil/sam/ct.
