Description

17. The National Park Service will soon be releasing a concession Prospectus for the solicitation of offers authorizing continuation of commercial services within Oregon Caves National Monument. The business to be operated will consist of lodging, food services and retail merchandise. This is primarily a seasonal operation and recent annual gross receipts for the past three years have ranged from 1.0 million to 1.1 million. Due to its seasonal nature, the National Park Service seeks to provide potential offerors an opportunity to tour the existing operation facilities prior to the beginning of the winter season. This tour will be in advance of the release of the Prospectus. To enhance a better understand of the condition of those buildings and facilities involved in this operation, the National Park Service will be providing a tour of those structures directly associated with the present concession operation. The Superintendent of Oregon Caves National Monument will be conducting the walk through of the buildings and facilities on October 31, 2000, at 10:30am and on November 9, 2000 at 10:30am.
