Description

The Architect of the Capitol requires spring and fall seasonal bedding plants for floral displays which are intended to be visual focal points on the U.S. Capitol grounds. The plant material shall be grown in accordance with accepted industry standards and be of the highest horticultural grade and quality. The Architect contemplates an Indefinite Quantity / Indefinite Delivery contract. Approximately 30,000 -- 60,000 annual bedding plants are planted each year on the U.S. Capitol Grounds. The exact quantity of plants to be ordered will depend upon the availability of funds and seasonal floral display rotations. Deliveries will be limited to quantities of no more than 4,000 plants per delivery. The plants will be planted by Government personnel.
