Description

Power Line Conditioner, McNamara Federal Building, 477 Michigan Avenue, Detroit, Michigan. Contract completion is 60 calendar days from the receipt of notice to proceed. Scope of work includes but is not limited to furnish and install a new 125KVA, 480 volt input, 208 volt output, 3 phase, power line conditioner on the 27th floor mechanical room. New power feeders shall be installed and connected to the existing power feeders on the 21st floor. The system will service an office area on the 21st floor. The work includes installation of conduit, cables, core drilling through concrete walls and floors, patching and painting. Work may be performed during building business hours. Utility shutdowns may not occur during building business hours. This procurement is open to all business concerns. The North American Industrial Classification System is 23531 with a size standard of $11.5 million. The estimated cost range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This is a negotiated best value procurement. GSA is issuing this solicitation electronically only. Interested parties may access the solicitation via the Electronic Posting System (EPS), http://www.eps.gov on or about October 20, 2000. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and drawings. It is also the offerors responsibility to monitor the site for possible amendments and/or additional information. Offer due date and time for receipt of proposals will be November 21, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. local time.
