Description

Y-ADD/ALTER EXCHANGE AT NS MAYPORT FL, PROJECT N950799. Solicitation F41689-01-R-0003. POC: ANITA MALDONADO, PHONE: (210)671-1194 EXT 8690. FAX: (210)671-1196. The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) is soliciting proposals from prime contractors for additions and alterations to the existing exchange facility at NS Mayport FL. The facility will remain in operation and open to customers throughout the construction period, requiring careful phasing of the work and protection of customers and products from damage or degradation from the construction operations. The work includes but is not limited to: a new addition of about 23,750 square feet of interior Sales Area and outdoor Garden Center, and alterations to the existing 72,625 square feet of Exchange and Mall. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Bid guarantee is required. Bid packages should be available on or about 26 Oct 00. The estimated closing date for proposals is 27 Nov 00 All responsible sources meeting the criteria set forth in the RFP may submit an offer, which will be considered by the Government. This solicitation will use the Non-appropriated Funds (NAF) guidelines. Time for project completion is approximately 10 months from Notice to Proceed.
