Description

L.A. Job Corps Center is requesting bids for food service licensed and bonded contractor. The contractor shall operate two cafeterias including the requisitioning, receiving, storing and preparation of all food stuffs, as well as serving well-balanced meals. Prepare and service 21 meals per week, Monday through Sunday, consisting approximately of 300 people for breakfast, 425 people for lunch, and 300 people for dinner, plus special meal requests for events or occasions. Contractor must provide salary and fringe benefit plan, and FTE breakdown by staff category. The LAJCC will provide an office, furniture and equipment to conduct business related to the contract. LAJCC will provide all utilities at no cost to the contractor. The facilities for the cafeteria shall comply with local and Federal Health and Safety regulations. Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Los Angeles Job Corps Center on October 20, 2000 at 9:00 a.m., 1106 S. Broadway Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90015. Bids must be received by October 20, 2000.
