Description

The Department of Justice intends to issue an award on a sole source basis, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13, pursuant to 41 USC 253(C)(1) only one responsible source, to Seymour Dewitt to provide the following services to the Department's International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP) Staff, 1331 F Street NW, Washington DC. The services to be provided include, but are not limited to, assisting in the development of budgets for country project's training and technical assistance activities; assisting in identifying instructors, consultants and advisors for programs throughout the Latin American Region, reviewing documentation necessary for program execution to ensure conformity with Department's and ICITAP'S policies, contractual requirements and consistency; and maintaining effective liaison with counterparts in the US Dept. of State, USAID, and other federal, state and local law enforcement agencies in support of ICITAP'S mission. Must speak fluent Spanish and possess in-depth knowlege of Latin America and law enforcement managment. Responses received as a result of this notice of intent shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses will not be considered as either proposals or bids. A determination by the Govenrment not to open this requirement to competition, based upon the written responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
