Background "SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF RFP ISSUANCE. THIS EFFORT IS CONSIDERED COMMERCIAL IN NATURE AND ANY RESULTANT CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED IAW FAR PART 12. All sources capable of providing the following services are being sought. THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF RFP ISSUANCE. The 74th Medical Support Squadron anticipates a competitive acquisition for services to provide medical physics support at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The Contractor shall provide a comprehensive Diagnostic Imaging Quality Assurance (QA) Program for the Medical Center (Building 830), the Pediatrics Clinic (Building 219) and the Occupational Health Clinic (Building 40). The specific types of equipment include fixed radiographic systems, fixed radiographic-fluoroscopic systems, portable radiographic systems, portable fluoroscopic systems, mammography imaging systems, computerized axial tomography systems, magnetic resonance imaging systems, diagnostic ultrasound systems, nuclear medicine imaging systems. The Contractor shall provide oversight for the Radiation Therapy Quality Assurance Program. The specific types of equipment include a medical linear accelerator, a radiotherapy simulator, and a radiation therapy treatment planning system. This contract will be conducted as a cooperative effort between the Contractor and the Government. Anticipated period of performance is 01 APR 01 through 31 MAR 02. Four one-year options may be awarded. All sources capable of providing these services are being sought. In addition to the information requested in the paragraph below entitled ""Capabilities Package"", responding parties must also indicate their size status in relation to the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 621512 (Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 8071). Businesses with annual receipts of $5,000,000.00 or less are considered small. Sources with 8(a) status or otherwise classified as small disadvantaged business should state accordingly in their responses. Capabilities Package. PLEASE ADDRESS ALL AREAS. All interested firms should submit a capabilities package that outlines the firm's capabilities in providing all of the above mentioned services. Contractor is required to provide all management and labor required for the operation and management of the functions listed. If subcontracts are to be used, provide anticipated percentage of effort to be subcontracted and whether small or large businesses will be used. The capabilities package should be brief and concise, yet clearly demonstrate an ability to meet the stated requirements. Previous experience in all areas should be provided Teaming and/or subcontracting arrangements should be clearly delineated and previous experience in teaming must be provided.
