- Description
- The Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for standards development work on new source categories for which a regulation has not been written or for which work has not been initiated. The primary purpose of this effort is to provide all necessary labor, materials, services, equipment, and facilities to provide the required technical support for the development, implementation and review of National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP), New Source Performance Standards (NSPS), Maximum Achievable Control Technology (MACT) Standards, Control Technique Guidelines (CTG), and Alternative Control Technology (ACT) documents. The EPA anticipates that a cost-plus-fixed-fee/ level-of-effort/work assignment type contract will be awarded. The Government anticipates award of a total level-of-effort of 128,000 direct labor hours consisting of 25,600 labor hours for the first twelve-month period. In addition, the contract will allow for 25,600 labor hours for each of the additional four twelve-month periods. SIC No. 8748/North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) No. 541620 applies with a size standard of $5M in average annual receipts over the last three years. It is estimated that this solicitation will be issued on or around 11/16/00 as Full and Open Competition, and that proposals will be due thirty (30) days after the RFP issuance date. The solicitation and amendments will be available via the Internet World Wide Web at http://www.epa.gov/oam/rtp_cmd. Firms are encouraged to access the solicitation and amendments via Internet. If you will be obtaining a copy of the solicitation via Internet, it will be your responsibility to frequently check the same site where the solicitation is posted for any amendments. However, only those firms who do NOT have the capability to obtain the solicitation from Internet, may submit a written request for a diskette. Diskettes will not be sent to those firms who have Internet access. If you request a diskette of the solicitation, you will receive amendments by mail, unless you notify us otherwise. Telephone and fax requests will not be honored. Only one copy shall be sent to a corporate entity, regardless of the number of requests from one or more different geographic locations. A copy of the preliminary source list will be posted along with the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. See Numbered Note(s) 26.*****
