Description
TITLE: CALL FOR TECHNICAL PAPERS BACKGROUND. The Naval Air Systems Command has designed and established the Advanced Technology Review Board (ATRB) process to enhance effectiveness of the Department of the Navy's technology investment and to facilitate acquisition of and transition planning for emerging technologies. The Naval Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Executive Steering Group (ESG) Technology Coordination Team has further tailored the process to meet emerging technology needs of the Naval UAV community. The ATRB process provides a forum for the periodic review of technologies that are relevant to the needs of the Naval UAV community. Government, industry, and academic sources provide synopses of proposed or ongoing technology efforts for review by the Technology Coordination Team. The Team evaluates the submissions and provides recommendations to the ATRB voting members as to its relevance to the needs of the Naval UAV community. PROCEDURES FOR SUBMISSION. Submission of technical papers shall be accomplished in the following manner. Technical papers shall be submitted via Technology Submission Form on the NAVAIR PMA-263 website http://uav.navair.navy.mil/. The Government will accept proprietary information and will ensure that all individuals that have access to proprietary information treat it accordingly. REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ON SPECIFIC TOPICS. The Naval UAV ATRB will examine three topic areas. These areas are not presented in order of importance.
