C.1, ITEM 0001: SINGLE CABLE CONNECTOR (HOLE #P45-20S) TO BE PROVIDED AS AN ASSEMBLED UNIT IAW EB SPEC 2982E, P/N 2982/1-001 MOD. MODIFICATION IS PER NOTE 66 OF NAVSEA DWG 5858370-F. WIRING OF THE CONNECTOR SHOULD CONSIST OF AN 85 PIN INSERT WITH B-16 WIRES MADE INTO 24 SHIELDED TWISTED PAIRS PER NOTE 66C OF NAVSEA DWG 5858370-F AND WIRED PER TRACOR DRAWING SK-1083-D SHEET 12. THE LENGTH OF THE CABLE TAILPIECE SHALL BE NO LONGER THAN 6 FEET LONG AND PROVIDED WITHOUT AN IN-LINE CONNECTOR. RETAINER PLATES (P/N'S 2982/1-015, 2982/1-018) & PACKING ASSY (P/N 2982/1-017) SHALL BE MODIFIED TO PASS 85 B-16 WIRES PER NOTE 66A OF NAVSEA DWG 5858370-F. Qty 1 Each. THE CABLE TAILPIECE ASSOCIATED WITH MODULE 11 SHALL CONSIST OF B-16 WIRES MADE INTO 24 SHIELDED TWISTED PAIRS AND 6 UNSHIELDED WIRES AND MODULE 20 SHALL CONSIST OF B-16 WIRES MADE INTO 24 SINGLE SHIELDED WIRES AND 6 UNSHIELDED WIRES PER NOTE 66D OF NAVSEA DWG 5858370-F AND WIRED PER TRACOR DRAWING SK-1083-D SHEET 13.
