Description

The U.S Customs Service intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Rockwell Collins Government Systems Division, Cedar Rapids, Iowa to procure Control Display Units (CDU) for the P-3 AEW aircraft upgrade program. This equipment will be supplied by Customs as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) to the prime contractor and integrated with the 1553 data bus to control radio, internal and auxiliary communication selections to achieve a common avionics configuration baseline as previously established by the most recent USCS configuration (P-3 AEW #7 and #8). This contract will require the contractor to supply technical support, technical data, manuals and additional system spares. This contract action is subject to the availability of funds. See Note 22.
