Description
Proposal amount will be in the form of a single multiplier to be applied against a unit price schedule for future work orders which include, but are not limited to, various types of minor alterations, repairs, improvements and maintenance work for U.S.P.S. owned and/or leased buildings throughout the South Georgia area (which includes a small portion of South Carolina). There may be more than one contract awarded as a result of this Solicitation. If only one contract is awarded, it would be awarded to the offeror with the lowest multiplier. The total quantity of work, which will be required under this solicitation, is indefinite. The contract will be for a two year base period (with three 1-yr. renewal options) with an initial maximum contract amount of $500,000; minimum contract value of $10,000. Payment and performance bonds will be required. The contract may be increased to $9,500,000 with corresponding increase in payment and performance bonds. The subcontracting goals for this contract is a minimum of 10% for minority-owned businesses and a minimum of 7% for women-owned businesses. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received and identity of awarded offerors will not be disclosed to anyone until time of contract award. The U. S. Postal Service reserves the right to reject any or all offers. ONLY OFFERS RETURNED PERSONAL HAND DELIVERY OR U. S. POSTAL SERVICE FIRST CLASS, EXPRESS MAIL OR PRIORITY MAIL WILL BE CONSIDERED IN COMPLIANCE WITH THIS SOLICITATION. ANY OTHER CARRIERS WILL BE REJECTED.
